no, they're not too bad, but i still think it woulda been better to go with the G009s online.
How much they charging you for the falkens? |
94 each, buy 3 get one free was like 311
then 12 per tire disposal and 20 something road hazard (free flat repair ect) and then Free Rotation, Balancing and Alignment check and valve stems im out 435 total, not too bad i don't think, considering what i got out of it. |

Falken ZE 912
I have a 2000 Park Avenue and would like to know the opinions on the Falken ZE 912 tires. I was interested in the ZE 512, but locally the 912's are available.
The price I found is 115 each, includes mounting, balancing, road hazzard, nitrogen inflated, etc.. so, i figure 460 out the door...plus tax of course. I have an appointment in a couple hours, but I thought I'd visit the ol' Bonne Gang for some input. Sam B. |
Dont go with the falkens, nothing but garbage. I should know, we sell them at work.
best bang for the buck are the goodyear assurance tripletreads or the michelin weatherwise 2 oh and the 512's are being discontinued cuz they suck. lol |

I currently run 512s As for the tires, I should have posted before I was in dire need of tires, but I posted a couple hours before my appointment. I am still very curious to hear what others have to say about the 512's as well as the 912's. I bought a set of 4 912's yesterday, and I really like them, so far. We are going to experience rain and/or snow all this week, so I should really get the chance to test them out. My old tires were not shaped like a circle, as my new ones are. That's always a plus. ;) Anyone have any opinions on nitrogen filled tires? Where I bought my tires, they unflate them with nitrogen, which is supposed to be better than air. I read some stuff online about it, but aside from all the theories, has anyone noticed a difference running nitrogen instead of air? Thanks again for any and all help. Sam B Western New York. |

I am almost insulted by the term..... we'll let this one go..... By all means, if you think i did something wrong, don't let it go. do whatever you do when someone is so offensive, they'd ask a question on a vintage 2 month old....thread.. sheesh.. Got an opinion on the tires? never mind. I don't really care at this point... |
