any of these stores close to you?
http://dt.know-where.com/DiscountTir...ion/US/NC.html Sorry, no Discount Tires in your state |
I can set up the whole thing online through Merchants Tire and make an appointment the price its giving me online is
$424.96 for the Falken ZE-512 :: Includes Free Lifetime Tire Rotation and Alignments |
225-60R16s for sure. 215s just look too small for the body style.
Tires that I personally recommend: Rated in rank Bridgestone Potenza G 009 - $84 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions - $118 Michelin Primacy MXV4 - $127 Michelin HydroEdge - $119 Bridgestone Turanza Serenity - $125 Goodyear Eagle ResponsEdge - $107 Goodyear Assurance TripleTred G009s are definitely the best bang for the buck IMHO, but if you want to spend a little more for something better, I definitely recommend the HydroEdge or the TripleTreds for many reasons including that they both last 80-90k miles and are both EXCELLENT all seasons. |
I just got a set of Michelin hyrdoedge on my winter rims, havent driven on the road with them yet but they seem like a great tire
|
Falken ZE-512 ,, those where the ones i was goign to get if DunnTire could not get the Hankooks at a good price 8)
|
I dont need tires that last 80-90k miles, liable be dry rot before then... :?
Maybe I'll pok around localy to find someone with Bridgestone Gs My Goodyear Eagle GAs look more expensive to replace than anything mentioned here @ $128 each  |
Can't tirerack.com ship directly to a local installer? That's what I did on my last set.
|
Lemme look into that, if i can get them to send to Merchants, im going Bridgestone G, if not I'll prbably go with the Falken ZE512
or Goodyear triple tread if someone wants to help me pay for 'em  |
Or what about these?
Kumho Ecsta SPT  Yeah right, at $212 a piece, and beside mine doesn't spin the wheels enough to make enough smoke to be worth it   |
I have to just put my input in here, they are a bit more expensive I believe but, I just got a set of Continental ContiProContacts for my car and....WOW is about all I can say. I can barely ever get them to lose traction and let's just say the speeds I can turn at without having a problem I cannot post on here... (their wet traction is amazing too, btw)
