My Journey With General Motors (long read) - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Appreciate the support! Kinda funny on some other forums there are people actually saying I'm being ridiculous and making a mountain out of a mole hill...whatever ya know?

You are being ridiculous, in that you let the problem go on for so long.

I like that you simply retold the story presenting facts and details, instead of just coming in and saying 'GM Sucks'.

I plan on keeping up with this.

Rjolly, I'm nothing but factual! I tried having it stopped sooner but GM keep saying I had to bring it back to continue fixing their mess ups. Unfortunetley in the DFW area legal counsel is rather expensive. I've got some info sent to the AG and got the local DFW media involved. We will see where it goes...Be sure to stop by the Facebook page!

You can also follow the story on the General Motors Facebook as I question them nearly daily as I get updates in my case. I currently have a few conversations happening, they deleted most of them when I busted out facts.

I sit on the supplier advisory council for GM CCA (Customer Care and Aftersales, used to be called Service Parts Operations) and interface with them on a regular basis at the director and executive director level. I won't release names and email addresses because I won't jeopardize my relationship with these people, but I will forward an email to a couple of individuals who will take it to the top of the ladder. They are very passionate about resolving issues like this.

Send an email to me at [email protected] describing your experience and issues in detail. Include pictures and a link to your Facebook page, but stick to the facts. Leave out the emotional criticisms of GM and the people you have been dealing with. Include your contact information.

I will forward your email to the appropriate people.
