Hey guys I need your opinion on a used 1990 Ford Mustang for sale I saw in the paper.

Its the 5.0 litre V8 and its priced at $4,000. Anybody have any experience with 'em?

The hatch back is nasty, make sure it has a trunk. You could weast that money elsewhere, but its your choice.

The older 5.0 is nothing amazing by itself, plan on dumping a couple bucks for bolt ons if you wanna go FAST!

I understand that the car is not great to look at, but I'm asking performance wise.

Isn't it faster than any stock NA bonnies?

And if I remember correctly the traction is terrible with them. They are too lite. The camaros and firebirds are heavier but get the needed traction.

the only mustang I like is pre 70, my dad had a 70 mach 1, but the 64 1/2 and up coupe are pretty sweet.

The newer ( late 80'* early 90'* style), well that you would have to get the cobra gt to make it look nice and even then I don't think they are all that hot, but that is just my 0,02$.

Weight won't be a problem for me unless the car is too heavy. I have a solution for poor traction due to low weight: can you say sand-bags!

wouldnt a cobra be worse regarding traction
