Default Muffler wrap????? Is this beneficial?

If there'* minor holes in the muffler tailpipes or exhaust pipe should you use muffler wrap or whatever it'* called? Or should you just get some new mufflers?

Get new mufflers, the wraps are just a band-aid effect, invest the money now to get a new one before other problems arise.

I've used muffler wrap on several occasion such as the winter time as a temporary measure untill the weather gets warmer. In one case I forgot about it for about a year and a half untill it started making noise again.

muffler wraps are poop, they'll only last a month at best, new muffler ftw!

I tried one of those on my cutlass. It lasted about 2 weeks. Ended up patching it with a cut side of a coke can and large hose clamps, which lasted until the spring thaw

new muffler/pipe is the way to go.
