Muffler wrap????? Is this beneficial?

If there's minor holes in the muffler tailpipes or exhaust pipe should you use muffler wrap or whatever it's called? Or should you just get some new mufflers?

Get new mufflers, the wraps are just a band-aid effect, invest the money now to get a new one before other problems arise.

I've used muffler wrap on several occasion such as the winter time as a temporary measure untill the weather gets warmer. In one case I forgot about it for about a year and a half untill it started making noise again.

muffler wraps are poop, they'll only last a month at best, new muffler ftw!

I tried one of those on my cutlass. It lasted about 2 weeks. Ended up patching it with a cut side of a coke can and large hose clamps, which lasted until the spring thaw :btruestory:

new muffler/pipe is the way to go.
