The Mitsu 3.8 is rated at 262 Hp I think... But it chews up a good bit of fuel...

Anyone have some ratings on the Mitsu 3.8? I also believe that the car is a bit chunky...

the Mivetc or what ever it is in the 06 eclipse has 262 hp and 260 ftlb of torque

the C&D test over 300 miles only got 15 mpg :?

Thats pretty bad considering that most bonnies don't do that bad even when you rag on them..

I think my Uncle gets about 15 mpg in his GMC 1500 with a 5300 V8... 7mpg when he tows his trailer...

The GM 3.9 is just shortly behind with 240 HP, and I'm sure it gets hella better milage too.

ya with the VVT it makes a big difference
