I think I'd have to agree with you... a car that only comes in black...
I think the Maurader would take the Aurora too.....

Maurader
Standard Engine 4.6L 302 hp V8
Horsepower 302 @ 5750 RPM
Torque (lb-ft) 318 @ 4300 RPM
Curb Weight - Automatic (lb.) 4195

Aurora
Standard Engine 4.0L 250 hp V8
Horsepower 250 @ 5600 RPM
Torque (lb-ft) 260 @ 4400 RPM
Curb Weight - Automatic (lb.) 3967

The Maurader is about 200lbs heavier, but has 52 more HP and 58lbs of more torque, not to mention RWD.

Well i think the Aurora would give it to the Maruader because the Aurora has an trans power button on it plus it has a drive 3 which gives it more power

yeah, with the L67 (?), it'll take both the Maurauder and the Aurora... and give the old Corvette-powered one a serious run for its money, potentially even equal it.

that performance shift button doesn't make that much of a difference..
I still put my money on the Marauder winning..

L67 > LT1... supposedly by at around .3 - .5 seconds

Yes but mods are SOOOO cheap for the LT1, and they have a real aftermarket, and they're RWD. I'd give up a few 1/10ths for a car with RWD, no traction control, and that knida potential.

And the 92-96 impala just looks so much more bad ***...

So the LT1 is wimpy, huh? lol

My parents had a 96 impala SS back when they came out, and it wasnt wimpy at all.

I love the LT1 in my camaro. Its screams! I was talking to BonneME the other day and I was telling him how my friend had a 98 GTP, who ordered a new cat back exhaust and and CAI, said he could beat my stock car Z28. Well guess who won! He couldn't take off, all he did was spin.
