I think we need to bring this back on topic.....

As I stated if we were just comparing the latest Marauder to the latest Aurora, I think the Marauder would win.

Now if we toss the 2004 Chevy Impala SS into the mix.... I'd give it to the Impala w/ the L67.
According to carpoint.com the 2004 Impala SS beats the Marauder in 0-60 and 1/4mile times.

Thanks for those links Sol..... according to those websites the Marauder would clearly win.

I've been searching for some 0-60 times and 1/4mile times for a Bonneville GXP to compare... but I haven't found any. I found one site that stated "Estimated 1/4-Mile: 14.5@95 mph "

It would be interesting to compare the 4 cars in 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times....

04 Marauder
03 Aurora
04 Impala SS
04 Bonneville GXP

My bet would be on the GXP w/ the SS right behind it... followed by the Marauder and then the Aurora.

It would probably be better to throw in an old mid 90'* impala with the V8. That is in the same class as the Mercury.

In that case, I would put my money on the new Impala SS.

I think they run around mid 15'* or so. Maybe a tad lower.

they have to be faster than the SSEis, otherwise Pontiac wouldnt have put the N* in. I bet it would beat the Impala SS.
