Default loose heat shield on cat

i assume thats what the rattling noise that sounds like its right under me when i hit bumps. i stopped the car and sat there and revved the enigine and the sound was not there. so its not stuff inside the cat.is there anything i can do about it? besides gettin a new cat? is there some kind of high temp glue or somethin?

Depends, cat'* aren't repairable really (well legally) so if the cat is hitting the cover, then you'll have problems. Otherwise i thinkt he cover is just bolted up (someone check this i haven't looked at my chiltons recently and it'* 80 miles away in the ol' dorm room)
