Looking to Buy... Happy with yours?
the 3.5 has a 3.29 gear ratio and my car weighs in at 3,680 pounds. The GXP has a gear ratio of 3.71 and weighs 3,790.. So basically it is 100-130 pounds heavier, has a much higher gear ratio, and 55 more horsepower and 60 ft-lbs of more torque than my car has.
Has anyone driven a GXP with over 30,000 miles yet (and compared it to the L67 Bonnevilles.)

My Camaro had the wiring already in the trunk, so adding a CD changer to it was simple plug-and-play.
I too wonder if the Bonneville is pre-wired for a changer.

I loved the supercharged 3800, but the Northstar-powered GXP is clearly superior. But, as others have mentioned, the Northstar is difficult and expensive to modify, while with under $500 in modifications, you can turn the 3800 SC into a screamer that will bury the Northstar every time.
Well, I'll have to differ from experience. Having driven dozens of Bonnevilles, and owning two myself, also having driven an 04 and an 05 GXP (more than once):
There is no way a GXP will take a mildly modified S2 SSEi to the 1/4. All it takes is probably a pulley on an SSEi to beat the GXP in that regard, but considering the few GXP'* that have run at the track, it may not even take that.
Dyno numbers from INTENSE and the limited dragstrip listings so far on the GXP are dismal. To make matters worse, there is no performance aftermarket for the GXP.
Both of my Series 1 cars are quicker on the 1/4 than a GXP, and one of them is bone stock.
The long and short of it is this:
If you want a classy-looking freeway cruiser/passer, look into it. It'* a nice car, and you can get them for $26k new now.
If you want something with a little more kick around town, get an SSEi.
If you want something with a performance aftermarket, get an SSEi.
