Yep that was me, and I did have an LS1 in my '92 9C1 (police package). The motor was not the original, it was a rebuilt version from California that was installed in my Caprice at about 150k (right before I bought it). I loved the power of that motor, but it was a thirsty one and only averaged about 15mpg. Plus the rear end was out of alignment and apparently there was no way to adjust it and I kept burning thru rear tires. :? It was my 3rd car too, so after about a year I sold it and put the money toward my house down payment.

'92 LS1 for awhile and it was pretty sweet.
Are you sure you don't mean LT1. I don't think the LS1 even came about untill 97 or 98'. :?

the caprices are ugly.. very ugly... the impala'* are about the opposite though.. it'* kinda funny how they are both essentially the same body style. Go with the SSE.. much better looking car.

OMG OMG you dont know what you just said.. not only are they basically the same body style, there the same exact car lol.. thas funny.. and ya they do put out alot of power some of the b-bodys can run in the 9s lol thas just funny though really.. the impala is a caprice WX3 lol im sorry.. ya a grill and wheels shell never know the difference.. easely can get 500+ rwhp out of the LT1 with stock internals and no spray.. but mostly you see them in the 650 range lol... they had LT1s in the 80'* actually... they where carbeurated..
