i think that all the trims do have meanings like for example:
SE-Sport Edition
SSE-Super Sport Edition
SSEi-Super Sport Edition Inducted
LE-Luxury Edition
SLE-Sport Luxury Edition

i know that some of them might not be offical like the inducted thing but they all make sense hehe

Negative. I have this info direct from Pontiac. NONE of the models 'mean' anything. Pontiac isn't in the habit of making the badge names acronyms like Chevrolet does.

The only one that means anything is SLE, which is Sport Luxury Edition, but that really wasn't officially a 'model' until recently. It was an Options Package available on the SE originally.

So you're saying my car is one of the few that "Mean anything" Glad i got an SLE and not one of those SSEi junkers....
