And a battery guage instead of the boost gauge, GM confuses me like a woman. The white car I told him about had it and his don't. WOW!

They only put the boost gauges in the SSE/SSEi.

So what are differences between the LE, SE, SSE, SLE, SSEi?
and particularly, what does the " i " in SSEi stand for?
basically there just trim levels each a little higher in price and luxury, example a Caprice is a base modle Impala or usually any SE before a GT, RT, GTP, SSE, ect... Anyway it'* just different Trim levels that the names are identifiying,

I have to say the trim levels aren't initials for anything but they must have a meaning as far as the standard equipment each trim has. Your not going to see an SE coming out the factory with the fog lights close together or with a compass on the dash or an electronic driver info center. Even a tire inflator. SLE'* have them on some of those packaged */C models.

My project is to tape ever club members car with some footnotes and post it here. I think we need some verbal and visual footage for these topics. THat will certainly clear things up. I can't wait to buy the digital CD. I have the stuff on camera but need this one more piece and I'll have it on here.

ssesc93 is currently trying to put something together that is accurate conserning the Bonneville trim lines. If you find something that doesn't sound correct, PM him and give him the chance to edit his post with the correction. If he decides he is not up to the challenge, I will step in and help finish this project. I think he is on to something. And for the record, the trim lines really just outlined what the minimum options would be. Any trim line could be optioned up--but don't be suprised to find a Bonneville that has less than what you expected for that trim level. (i.e. not all SSEi'* came with all five console buttons--Performance shift, Normal Shift, Traction Control, Touring Ride, Normal Ride (or whatever those last two are). Also, the paint schemes had little to do with trim lines after 1991 (e.g. not all SLE'* came with chrome body molding).

Just as Jr's3800 is collecting RPO'*, it may be helpful if you all email or PM ssesc93 with your trim level, year, and some body charicteristics (position of fog lights, boost guage vs no boost guage, L67 or another engine, chrome/gold/black trim, stock wheel size, etc.) If we work together on this, we can get a comprehensive answer to all our trim-line questions posted in techinfo.

Like I said, if he feels that he doesn't want to persue this, let me know and I will.
