i bought my car for $500. i put a lot of time into it, fixing up all the little issues (rust, etc.) but not a whole lot of money. i only have a bit less than $1000 total into it after a year... it all depends how much time you are willing to spend on it.

i dont want to steal your thunder.. ( no pun intended )

but craigslist is great ,, i never used it before.. I put my car on sat afternoon.
sunday guy came and gave me deposit
tues paid balance SOLD.
why would anyone pay auto trader ???

have you thought about parting it out. one of my tail lights was purchased from the
US , no delam.. and cost approx 120.00 im memeory serves.
perhaps parting it is the way to go.
