All you need to get EGR tubes are
  • 10 mm deep socket
  • 3" extention
  • 6" extention
  • 13mm socket
  • 13mm wrench
  • something to pry a TB support if there is one

and I used a hammer and my six inch extention to beat down the shield a little bit and the tubes slide right out.

Awesome. Just take off the throttle body and crossover pipe and go for it?

no need to take the cross over off. Just bang the shield around it a bit.
