Default Junk Yard Run

Had a junk yard run to Chuck and eddies today and was very successful. Always nice to get everything you went to get.
  • 2 EGR tubes
  • Set of 67 Injectors
  • W-Body trans tube
  • Wire harness with pins for a 65trans
  • Matching 5 spoke wheel I found on a 93 regal
  • LQ4 maf

I'm very happy
I wanted a N* TB bt they ran ou but at their prices I'll wait for it pop up again

Yeah my mistake didn't want to interupt any halloween plans. Definatly next time though I will. swear 33% of that yard was 3.8'*. Found an intrigue that I picked for my W-body and trans parts. Got the injectors off an Ultra.

Funny about the injectors. I was hunting for all the EGR tubes and I opened the hood to the ultra and was perplexed. The TB looks different and the upper isn't plastic. uuhhh Oh damn it'* supercharged I sat there and told myself. NO top swap and I'm not going to try and turn a dollar. Buuuttt... I can use the injectors (said these are good for if I want to upgrade a little) so pop goes the fuel rail and injectors for me.

I envy ya'll with pick a part junkyards. Around here all the junkyards require ya to just tell em what you need and if they have it they'll bring it to the front counter for ya. If ya ask me it takes all the fun outta it

Tell me about it! Sometimes I goto my j/y just to look around. It makes for good research when someone else has already pulled a dash board out and you can peek around learning what was behind it.

Funny thing too, effective today, my j/y now has a $2 door fee to get into the yard. They say its to offset the cost of vandalism and theft. Theft of what? Engines? Transmissions? MAF sensors? Heck, they yank the MAF sensor before the car hits the yard anyway.
