My car is fixed!!! YAY!!! I dont know what i did but today i decided to take the car to the shop and get it fixed and there was no knocking noises.I then took it to the shop and i explained to them the situation and they told me to let the car stay running to see what was going to happen. Nothing happened bad at all. We took it for a little test drive and floor it majority of the time and still no problems. We then went back to the shop, they put a quart of oil in it for free and i went on my marry way. They said if it does so happen to mess up, bring it back. But the car has all potential as it did before....WOO HOO!!!!!

Very lucky indeed, running with no coolant in the engine for a while. If that happened to me, probably be my head gasket blown out through the hood

glad to hear everything went well for you! just make sure to keep a very CLOSE EYE on it for atleast a few days to make sure everything is sound with your car.

Seems to me, that engine just got too hot. I would still be carefull. :o
