Rare? What year group are we talking about? I have an 98 SE with the floor shifter, and the other member I work with has a 96 SE the same(he just never posts).

It'* actually not all that rare. Look at mine, for example, on the first page of this thread.

It'* typically fleet cars that have the console shifter.

will, i can explain perfectly. that new t-handle you just got came out of my cloth SE, which was replaced with the leather wrapped handle that i got with the center console/shifter (from an SSEi)
