Interesting stuff on shifter handles
I already knew that the 92-94 T handle shifters came with or without leather. Probably dependent on the interior seat material.
The same thing applies to the 95-99 Cobra shifter. SE'* with cloth got no leather wrapping.
Apparently the same thing applies to the 2000+ T handle (which I prefer of the 3 designs). The one I transplanted into the SSEi last year is leather wrapped, but the new one I just got for the SLE is not. Hard to tell at first glance, and it doesn't bug me, but still interesting nonetheless.

Wrong.

Don'* 95 had a plastic Cobra. I gave him a leather one to replace it last year.

You specifically said it about cobra shifters not having leather with cloth seats. I do!
