Theres really nothing significantly different in the SSEi 3800 engine vs. SE/SLE engine 3800, except the supercharger and a few small bits. So I can't see how it would be that much smoother and better than the naturally aspirated 3800...

The ENGINE in the GXP I drove was unbelievable...but the transmission was sloppy and rough. But it might have had a bad engine mount, which is what made my SE feel that way.

Another friend of mine just traded his caddy northstar in. The aluminum block cracked for the second time in two yrs.
There'* nothing like the 3800'. Worlds ten best engines.
