Police cars aren't above the law... A friend of mine failed the inspection on a Chesterfield, NH cruiser for non-functional fog lights.

cops around here drive around in L67 Impallas with limo tint on all windows, including the non-drug dog ones (all tint is done by a local tint shop here LOL. I went in there to see what it would cost for a retint when I had the ssei and there were 3 NEW impallas (and I doubt they had the l36 under the hood)

the new ltz get the 3.9 242hp

and the SS gets 5.3 303hp

it was an 05...I'd assume it was an SS cause the tailights were different than the others (this was july 2005, so it could not be an 06 model)

the model years are usaly ahead a year (for example my dad bought a 98 windstar in aug. 1997 )

I do believe the impalla SS only come in black and they have the dule exhaust

its part of their duty gear. transporting criminals is not a good thing, and they dont want the media, or even other people seeing who is in the vehicle.

Or how about when your doign speed limit and a cop puts his lights on just to get by and then truns them off.
