nope he was not arrested....he got a felony Agressive driving but the cop says I was at fault..you can bet I would be fighting that. we tested it with a buddys mazda 626 and he was going over 60 assuming his abs were working.

either way I am pissed...I will fight it to the end I am not going to pay for that other car.

he hit me at at least 30MPH according to the cops and the airbag information since they deployed. therfore he had to be going at least 60 looking at the skid marks.

You could and should fight this ticket. If he was going that fast, he probably wasn't visible when you started to pull out. Therefore the accident was solely the result of his speeding.

Damn, at least you're ok.....

But WTF is up with your Law Enforcement?

Are they ******* retarded or what? Look at the skid marks in Loose gravel? That car was EASILY over the 15 MPH and if they come out to do an accident reconstruction (in which they SHOULD) and measure out the skid marks.

Since you have pics, and before it get'* driven over and the marks go away, you should find a good tape measure and measure them out, and take pics with your camera.

Bring them with you to court, because all the other drivers info is gonna be there with your information. Or atleast spray paint the begining and end of the marks, measure, and pics.

NO WAY IN HELL should you have gotten slammed with the failure to yeild, and the EQUIVELENT to a Careless Driving. He shoulda had the Carless if not higher, a Wreckless.

Take that ****** down. HARD.

Boy, BC is just full of good news this weekend :?

Sorry to hear about this, Hans. Even though it wasn't the Bonne, I know you care for the Olds.

Glad you are OK, and you definitely need to fit that citation.

based on the damage to the mazda 6 which happend to be a 2006 rental car, the damage to that was at least 5000, the roof had bends in it, driver door did not close right, it was bent, fender wrecked, hood wrecked, the top subframe was making contact with the engine.

and the airbags deployed.

I just took the insurance of the car last week (it was supposed to be up for sale in a week or two)

I was driving from my alley..to the front which is where the garage is to wash the car and park it in the garage.

I also did not get a ticket for no insurance however that means that I will probably not get any money from the other insurance company at enterprise.

either way they better not sue me. I am talking to a lawyer on Monday.

as for my car, the strut is bent.....the control arm is not.... the wheel is done for....however does not leak any air.

the fender needs to be replaced

thats all...$200 parts + paint. mazda - $5000+

they estimate he hit me at around 30mph. that was after skidding. Lucky it was gravel, my car slid 40 feet.
