how's this sound?
Like I said guys, all this pessimism is just making me want to do this more. I'm gonna prove y'all wrong. I'm gonna give this a shot. And fuel, L67 and bags in the 93? I think not. I'm doing the RWD project on a different car. Plus, the 93 doesn't need that much work. A little body work (like, I can do this myself), a paint job, and a few interior things, and my car'* as good as new.

i think it would be very hard to do, but hell go for it. u think franky was easy????? if you could somehow find an australian holden vt with the rwd L67, that would help a ton. but a rwd bonnie would be insane. you would go down in history, and when you got it done, you could show up all the naysayers.
But wouldn't it be a lot cooler to see an old gramma car pull up at a drag strip racing Camaros and stuff?
Dreams and ideas are always good, high school-university= high paying job hopefully, then you can get all you want , best of luck with the dragster there only 100,000, big difference to a $1000 bonneville.
