Howdy! lol. Broke my car again. - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Judging by the pictures, not likely. Besides, I mentioned that in the context of if it being already cracked by the impact, just not readily visible. Doesn't look like it is.

No worries.

I don't know if your G body has that cross member as part of the subframe or not, but if it is, that'* a relativley simple task if you got some time and a lift, etc...

E body
I Think it would have to take the whole front end apart. lift the engine/tranny to do it properly. Also I dont have the proper welding mechine or certification to weld on that ultra high strength steel
So I think its stronger like that then If I where to cut it apart and zip it up with my arc.

Im going to have to put a 6" lift and a skid plate on it though
