I don't know if your G body has that cross member as part of the subframe or not, but if it is, that'* a relativley simple task if you got some time and a lift, etc...

I Think it would have to take the whole front end apart. lift the engine/tranny to do it properly. Also I dont have the proper welding mechine or certification to weld on that ultra high strength steel
So I think its stronger like that then If I where to cut it apart and zip it up with my arc.
Im going to have to put a 6" lift and a skid plate on it though
