hrm, VigCS is probably used to the Cressida'* Aisin A43DE tranny. It'* electronically controlled with a power mode, just like the SSEi, but both tranny'* cruising characteristics are a bit different. The Aisin tranny likes to keep revs constant more or less.

Yeah, I was only noticing it because it behaved differently from the Cressida. Believe me, I'm really going to miss the Cressida. It'* just nickle and diming me way too much, and it'* so expensive to have worked on. I just needed something that was more reliable.

I'm just worried that the car will need a new tranny since it did pop out of gear once on an incline with the wheel cut all the way over...300 miles ago. Although, the gas guage doesn't seem to work. 233 miles in one day and it was reading 5/8 of a tank when I got home.

And Toast, I haven't been into work since I've recieved the car. I'm going in tomorrow.

Those arent bad prices really, a friend of mine had to get a new trans in his 2001 saturn and it costed him like 2700 bucks all together.

Well, there was that $500 coil/ignitor that your mom insisted paying $500 for, when a perfectly solid and good used one would have given you many more years of service - for probably about $50 or less :o It was one of those parts that you don't NEED to buy new...

And welcome to GM gas gauges, finicky little chickenshits

You sure you didn't loose traction on that incline?
