109
and 20 seconds after my HUD was saying that, a cop was in my window saying "son you were doing 44 in a 30, and i'm gonna give you a ticket for that." At least he hadn't caught me 20 seconds earlier.

I'd love to know what 150mph feels like. I'll try to convince my dad to loosen up in his Vette this summer.

I agree. 113 for me and it felt slow. I felt I could have gone another 20mph and still feel 'safe.'

Cowboy is right. It'* stable (a Bonneville as well as a GP) at high speeds, but at certain speeds, the front end starts to float a bit. Needs a lower front airdam. I did notice something odd with this. With the Dunlop D60'* on it, that float happened at about 120mph. With the Toyo'*, it doesnt start until 135-140ish. Seems sidewall flex at extreem speeds raises the car slightly and lets that air underneath.

That'* my theory, anyway. Makes me want to force the ELC to fully inflate and raise the rear, to force the nose lower for a nother speed run and prove my theory.

Just a side note here.....my car came from the factory with Z rated tires, not H. My limiter was still set to 128 on the PCM, and I did confirm that pre-jet. With the Jet, I believe it'* at 199. (haven't pushed it THAT far yet).

Who said a 3800 couldn't have guts....
Yeah i KNOW they have guts... thats cause i saw them all spewed out over the highway in front of a Park Avenue yesterday.
Apparently this woman driving had a blind spot (on the drivers side) the size of an 18 wheeler cause thats what she merged right into. Her car spun into the wall (on a bridge) being pushed sideways by the semi. The semi did her the favor of removing and disassembling the 3800 for her so the wrecker service wouldnt have to go through the trouble... courteous semi, huh?

Do me a favor fellas, KNOW your engine has guts, but dont let anyone ever have to see them :P
