Default How do I scan my 95 bonny

I have a 95 bonneville. Do I need a scantool or can I just jump the terminals. I am getting conflicting info. Thanks

You can not get the codes from a '95 by putting a jumper between the terminals. I believe '93 was the last year for the Bonnevilles for that. You'll need a special code reader/scanner for your year that covers the 94 & 95 hybrid system.

Are you really in Orlando? (looks that way to me).

If so, there are a couple members nearby with scantools that will work for your car.

Yes I live in the kissimme St. Cloud area moved from Cleveland. That would be great if someone could read my computer for me. I just paid $30 for a mechanic to do it. He told me I was blowing PO131 O2 sensor High Voltage. He told me I had a bad O2 Sensor and he wanted to charge me $170 to replace. I did some investigating, bought the part for about half what he was going to charge me, and replaced it myself in 5 minutes. I hate being scammed!!! Didnt solve the problem!!!!!! When and where is the meat? If anyone could help, would be appreciative.

If you can't wait that long, PM me. I work at Orlando International Aiport, and can probably meet up with you after work one day.
