I have a 94 with 16 pins..autozone could not read mine with their actron scanner so do i need an obd I tool or an obd II

You need an OBD I reader with a OBD II hook up connection interface.. whatever you want to call it.

It appears that they might work, but I couldn't tell you for sure. I've never tried them. I can say that the bids do have a reserve on them and the original listing prices for them are between $500 and $700. My guess is they will be $300+, but you never know. They are from http://www.autoxray.com/products.aspx.
