Default Scan Tool

It'* evident to me that if I want to repair and diagnose my 95sse'* problems I'm going to need to invest in a scan tool. I do have a brand new Hewlett Packard laptop at home that would work great for this. Besides my 95 bonny I have an 86 Fiero GT, 92 cutlass and my folks and sister all have GM vehicles ranging from 92-02. Is there any one program or system that would be universal between all these, or made to work for that era. what sort of systems do all of you have?

This stuff has been discussed before. Here is the thread that will give you some insight into the OBD for the '95 model year.

If you still have questions after looking over that thread let us know.
