Default Hopeful 40th SSEi purchase

Hey there!
The other night, my son and I returned some movies, and I noticed a 40th SSEi in the laundry mat parking lot next door. I found the owner, and she explained it was her 7th Bonneville, and I asked her if she was interesting in selling.

She said it was a piece of crap and is considering it. Apparently the dash lights don't work.

What confused me though is she said it was a '99, but it had the 40th badges. Do you think it was a fake, or maybe she was mistaken?? It was purple with T-stars.

I gave her my # anyway, we'll see if she calls!

She probably just doesn't remember what year it was. It seems that most 40th SSEis were the purple color.

True enough.
If she'* owned 7, maybe it'* hard for her to tell them all apart.

She seemed to think the car was becoming a burden, so it would make a great project.
I would love another Bonnie for my wife to drive, which is how I explained my interest.

If it'* a 40th..then it'* a sweet year.

That would be nice to have and since you are a member here..nothing is tough to fix.

If she does call and you change your mind, let me know. I'll be right up to buy it! I need a new vin# for mine!

No phone call as of yet
I think I'll hang around the laundry mat and stalk her a bit (where is my "creepy emoticon"?)
I'm sure she lives in town, so hopefully we'll cross paths again.

Cheers,
Adam
