Hopeful 40th SSEi purchase
 

Hey there!
The other night, my son and I returned some movies, and I noticed a 40th SSEi in the laundry mat parking lot next door. I found the owner, and she explained it was her 7th Bonneville, and I asked her if she was interesting in selling.

She said it was a piece of crap :shock: and is considering it. Apparently the dash lights don't work.

What confused me though is she said it was a '99, but it had the 40th badges. Do you think it was a fake, or maybe she was mistaken?? It was purple with T-stars.

I gave her my # anyway, we'll see if she calls!

She probably just doesn't remember what year it was. It seems that most 40th SSEis were the purple color.

True enough.
If she's owned 7, maybe it's hard for her to tell them all apart.

She seemed to think the car was becoming a burden, so it would make a great project.
I would love another Bonnie for my wife to drive, which is how I explained my interest. ;)

no dash lights is just a fuse issue.. I had the same issue for months till finding the fuse (looked right over it the first time :oops: )

I think I'll hang around the laundry mat and stalk her a bit (where is my "creepy emoticon"?)
I'm sure she lives in town, so hopefully we'll cross paths again.
