Hey, I have a '93 SSE with 189,000. Still runs like a top, but some jerk in an astro van tried to park in my drivers seat. Have to say, thanks to the GM engineers, I walked away from the accident even though I didn't have belts on.

My 1989 Bonneville is just shy of 202,000 miles. I've had it since 180,000. I've had to replace the struts and oxygen sensor. Everything is still going strong. I believe even the transmission is original which is kinda impressive. The body and interior of this car is flawless considering the age. Now all i need is a 92 or newer SSEi for my collection

my neighbor had one with over 300,000 on it. . he sold it, and the person that bought it still drives it today! his was a 94. still had the origional engine, trans, etc, just like you'd expect from this engine/tranny combo.

My 93 ssei has 217k. Alternators are a problem. Engine replaced at 160,000. Found engine removed was good. It was the coil pack. Everything else original. I bought in 93.

Yeah, I replaced the motor myself. Found one from newer buick with 20k miles . I just had too much trust in mechanic and didn't check cylinder myself. Old motor on stand in garage. My wife says I never throw anything away.

I have a 90 Bonneville with 257k plus miles, no major engine work, only typical wear parts (alternator, struts, ignition modules,etc..). I also have a 92 Bonneville with 163K plus miles, again no major engine work, only typical wear parts. Both run like a dream.
