Head rebuilding
I've never done valve seals. Is it difficult to do? Any other head rebuilding advice?
I'm trying to decide what all to have the machine shop do when they check my heads and some porting.

I don't think it should be hard at all if the head'* off - it'* even very possible to do them with the heads on, from what I've seen (3800 may be different).
It'* an inexpensive proposition too, isn't it?

It does both, John. And leave the seals to the machine shop. That'* best for the fit, and they'll prefer it that way.
We want pics before and after
You'll be only the second or third Series 1 to tackle a full rebuild of the heads that I know of (for performance). I opted not to trying to save time in order to get the Zilla up for WCBF. :?

I once did a low buck head job with only two sawhorses, no spring compressor, and hand tools.
