Same with me! The bastard that rear-ended me put me in the hospital. I was out of work for 2 months, and his insurance is STILL acting like I'm some kind of blooducking pig. When they started acting that way, I got an Attorney. They wanna play music? I'll dance. It'* gonna cost 'em alot more because of their attitude.

Not really if you pay your cards right & get your employer to pay for it instead! BUT I still DON'T have to pay BEFORE getting anything done in a hospital like you Yanks do!

Where'd ya get that crazy idea? That only applies to ghetto runners and homeless. Most us us only pay what is called a copay...usually under $100.00 for anything at a hospital. But then again, we only go to the hospital if it'* an emergency or surgery...we have really rich doctors we see in private offices for everything else. Then we argue with our insurance companies for 1-2 years about this payment or that payment and the doctors bitch about the insuance companies not paying them what their worth. But they do that from the golf course...on Wednesdays...in Acapulco
(ramblings of a madman who has been up 39 hours..... )

Comp'* right....and I haven't paid a dime so far.....Car insurance an medical insurance have picked it all up. I spent 2 months an a little more than half pay while on disability, though. I'll have to wait for the settlement to recoup the rest.

Ok remember you live in Alberta the only province to have a two tear system that is based on income just like in the US. My work also pays for my medical but it is still a cost. Sorry Canada and the US medical systems are getting closer and closer.

Here’* a fact for ya..Doctors in Germany are now paid very very little. Actually a doctor in Germany will be paid less than $80000.00 Canadian. They have a majorly funded medical system. I have family there and they are barely able to keep there clinics open. I am not sure how it happened but they have a system much like the Canadian one but with more government support.

Well Ty, I'll tell you this though! If the Federal Gov't had their way EVERY Cdn would be on welfare! That way the Gov't could control them!

Um, eventually my lawyer is going to call me back. Hahahahahaha. Estimator guy told my husband (Senor Gullible) that the air bag light was NOT a problem, just reset the ECM and it will go away. ha ha ha. It didn't go away....and guess what didn't go into the estimate?? Dingdingding, that'* right! The cost of fixing the air bag problem!!! Karma has kicked me in the tush.

Let your lawyer handle it... and let him know that the car hasn't moved much since the accident due to the ahem... stalling problems, and the fact that you were scared of the airbag popping in your face ( which isn't true if you pulled the fuse.. but o well.. they don't have to know that ). As long as your husband hasn't signed anything ( like on the estimate ).. it would make it a lot easier to have that added. The mechanic that told you that simply resetting the PCM shouldn't be touching your baby... obviously he either doesn't know what he'* doing or his in co-hoots with the other insurance company..

The estimator was NOT a mechanic. They don't have mechanics look at the cars. Isn't that funny? ha...ha...ha.....*sniffle* The only way a mechanic is going to look at that car is if I take it to one. My lawyer thinks this is slightly amusing. He'* twisted.

*Small side note. The estimator guy used to be an insurance claims adjuster. This just gets better and better by the minute.
