A 1987 is what started me with Bonnies. Paid $400 for it in 01. Had 160K on it at the time. Tranny went out at 190K. Swapped it with one from an 89. Car wouldn't accelerate correctly after that (as Bill mentioned, the electrical wasn't right, but mechanically it bolted up fine). Passed it on to my sister in law who drove it to 260K.

Problems we had with it in the 100K we had it.... Windows were dirt slow, windshield leaked, steering wheel got squirelly (was almost telescoping), water pump, rusted to h^&*. Decent car for the money. Would defintely buy another one for $400! I never did the timing chain...just drove the SOB!!

I just think of it as needing to plan ahead when I'm rolling with Randman in Franky.

Althought I guess you wouldn't put the windows down much in AZ...

We put the windows down, plenty here (well, at least 4 months out of the year) ..and what makes you think the car is an AZ car...RJ lives in New Mexico
