Is going to be fun. Going to the junkyard in Binghamton, NY cause they have 2... yes 2 W-body 5 speed cars in the yard with good parts. I am planning on spending 8am-3pm in the junkyard pulling both transmissions, all associated parts, and a wiring harness off another motor. Anyone is welcome to come. Hopefully will be dragging Rob (CorvetteCrazy) with me and Popatim might join as well.

One question I have: What size is the Axle nut on a 89 Grand Prix and a 90 Cutlass Supreme? I'll need to find a way to get those off, and get the axles out (or leave them in and get them out when I get it home)

Other than that, and breaking the bolts on the transmission mounts, I should be all set.

The site used to have a listing of cars in the yard. I don't believe he has 2000 + bonneville parts or I'd be there.

if you dont need the axles themselves, you can just break the balljoints loose instead.... but if you need teh axles then i believe its a 34mm, but i could be wrong...

I need the axles unfortunately, and it looks like they are 36mm for those years. Hoping TurboSedan sees this and can fill me in.
