Default Going to the Junkyard this weekend in Binghamton....

Is going to be fun. Going to the junkyard in Binghamton, NY cause they have 2... yes 2 W-body 5 speed cars in the yard with good parts. I am planning on spending 8am-3pm in the junkyard pulling both transmissions, all associated parts, and a wiring harness off another motor. Anyone is welcome to come. Hopefully will be dragging Rob (CorvetteCrazy) with me and Popatim might join as well.

Now, the exciting part? This weekend they are having a sale on transmissions!!!! $49.99 plus core u pull!!! So It'* not just made it worth it more for me to do this. They also have other good sales this weekend:

Transmission $49.99
Bumper $19.99
Cylinder Head $19.99
Seat $9.99
Heater Motor $5.99
Hatch Shock $2.99
Gas Cap $0.50

Now, anyone wishing to drive over and browse, or help turn a wrench, be my guest. THe cars are all up on rims, so you can get under them easy. I'll be there 8am to 3pm when they close. They are not open sundays.

There are 6-10 SE bonnevilles all years and many colors (one 97 white like rob'* old one) and one 93 SSE that I remember. www.garysupullit.com to check out directions, price list, and new inventory. PM me if you are in the area and plan on coming.

And I am not taking orders for parts. I will have my hands full on the parts I am getting.

One question I have: What size is the Axle nut on a 89 Grand Prix and a 90 Cutlass Supreme? I'll need to find a way to get those off, and get the axles out (or leave them in and get them out when I get it home)

Other than that, and breaking the bolts on the transmission mounts, I should be all set.

I'm excited, can't you tell?

The site used to have a listing of cars in the yard. I don't believe he has 2000 + bonneville parts or I'd be there.

if you dont need the axles themselves, you can just break the balljoints loose instead.... but if you need teh axles then i believe its a 34mm, but i could be wrong...

I need the axles unfortunately, and it looks like they are 36mm for those years. Hoping TurboSedan sees this and can fill me in.

I know. He'* the one that passed on the chance that he'd get to talk to his ex, so he is not coming.

Get a ride to Syracure in the AM and ride down with Tim

And my roommate might be coming down tomorrow and staying til sunday.
