Weird, mine never broke either. I'm guessing the roof caved in and when it did it pushed the doors out instead of crushing them on top, breaking the glass. The B-pillar took the force instead of the doors. His roof does look worse then mine did though. :?

Again, thankfully you weren't hurt Aaron!

I agree with you Morty on the "why sue unecessarily" part, but I would definitely see if it would be possible to be there at his trial. If he did that kind of damage to you after hitting someone else, I would try to be a witness for the prosecution. Make sure that sumbitch gets the maximum penalty!!!

I too am glad to hear that you and everyone else mentioned in this thread walked away from these.

Now, stay away from me in case it'* contagious!!

either way these cars are safe as hell in rollovers and t-bones. The large size and headroom helps a lot even if the roof gets bent your head does not.

I've been driving REALLY careful lately.

While I respect your decision (when I was rear ended I did not sue either), understand that you might have injuries further down the road that might not creep up right now. Regardless I'm just glad you are OK. These are very safe cars indeed.

I just heard from Oldsman what happened! I am really glad that you came out of it without a scratch. I hope that drunk dumb a$$ gets screwed from his insurance. That is the only way these type of people learn, when you hurt their wallet. I thank god you are safe and sound.
