the fact that you walked away from an accident like that is absurd. its hardly comprehendable. I see why my dad (an ER doc) always liked big trucks/suvs and big cars, makes sense now.

i wouldn't drive anything else... makes the poor MPG in some of them (trucks and SUV'*) seem like no big deal.

Insurance is paying $2200 for the car. Looks like the other guy is in deep crap though because of the other car'* total damage.

As a side note, and more important to me then ANYTHING ELSE: Everyone survived the accident with no injuries. I plan on accepting the offer and moving on.

Hans, I know why I survived. Its a deeply personal reason I don't plan on sharing, but lets just say I had a personal epiphany as to why I am still walking.

well $2,200 is a good start towards another car. I'm glad that you're taking things so well and you know that even as bad as things where things may work out for the better. Best of luck to you!

Thanks Darrel.

There'* a 97 SSEi local I could walk over and buy right now if I wanted to. There'* a 98 in Enfield I could get a ride up and pick up on Monday. I'm gonna stick with one eyed wonder and being a passenger for a bit and let my nerves calm down.

Wow, $2200. That seems low to me. But you're not injured and as long as you got what you need for it.
