I have used the cone & drop-in K&N air filters, and I've never had a MAF problem. I have recharged them myself, too. No problems whatsoever. In fact, I've only read this whole MAF thing from people who don't seem to have recharged their own filters anyway. It'* really strange. I even put my 94 SSEi up as the test car by dousing the air filter with the goods and then driving about a minute later. No problem.

Got the air hog in the 96 and will see how it goes. Looks like a K&N.
