I think my radiator does have a petcock, at least RockAuto sells one for my car.
So I could remove it and use my shopvac there, and not have to remove the lower hose right?
I am considering getting the new coolant res, it is only about 16.00, but I am wondering how hard it would be for me to remove the one on there, and clean it, then put it back.
If possible I am trying to save all I can, as I have already spent like 700.00 on stuff for the car, and I still need plugs to put on eventually, I think the plugs now should be good, as the guy put ZZP 10.5mm wires, so I am pretty sure he changed the plugs when he did the wires, I'll ask him..

Ehh I went ahead and ordered a new coolant res, 24.00 with shipping included, also ordered a new radiator cap, and got some AC Delco Iridium plugs while they are offering a rebate of 2.00 per plug.

Also I am iffy about going with a totally different AF, Dex cool worked great in my 96' Park Ave, never had any issues because I always changed it when need be, never mixed it, and always bled the system well.
I went with some Zerex Dex Cool...
