Your thread on the leak didn't say the tensioner was replaced at the same time.

"so next i spit in the owners face for threating me in front of my kids and he ran inside when i put my sons carseat on the floor"

So you spit on the owner in front of your kids? What was that teaching them?
You might need an anger management class. I don't care how wronged you thought you were.

i might need an anger managment class? the owner verbally assulatd me infront of my 2 kids... and yes what i did was wrong but the cops did not lock me up beause when they seen the tape from firestone they see the owner telling 4 workers to go outside and make me leave. then they also see on the tape the 4 workers coming up to me in the parking lot and threatning me (4 against 1) cops are on my side because they see it as me defending my self against 4 grown men.. if you'* seen the video then yous wont call what i did so wrong.. did any of yous read that the guy came upto me so thats why i busted his nose.. or did allof yous bypass that part.. the blame aint my fault for defending my self no matter how wrong i was..

The line between verbal and physical was crossed by you.

it wasnt replaced at the same time.. thats the funny part. i had them replace the elbow and they did and they also ran a pressure test and said everything is fine now. so the next day i went back and dropped the car off and said its leaking again can yous please inspect it and call me so then they went and changed the bolt tensioner and csalled me to pick the car up and gave me a bill that i did not agree on.. then they said it was mandatory to replace the tensioner because i replaced the elbow and the 2 make up one peice.... so when i refused to pay they would not give me my keys.. so i paid and left and the very next day my water pump is leaking...? does that make any sence if they presure tested the system on the first job and said everything was fine...

Not taking either side, however, I can personally vouch that both my dad and myself have been almost been taken for a ride at the local 'Firestone Complete Car Care' center nearby. Some of their claims for causes, costs, and labor are outrageous. Sometimes I wonder if they're just throwing out numbers...

Firestone Mechanic: Hmm... I could really use $250 to take my girl out this weekend...
[Customer walks in...]
Customer: Someone at this wonderful online club told me I need my spark plugs changed!
Firestone Mechanic: Oh, well those are gonna be special type spark plugs, so they're gonna run ya 'bout $90 for all 6, platinums and all, and then the engines mounted in such a manner, the labor'* gonna run 'bout $175.
Customer: Wow, I'm really glad they warned me about you, I think I'll spend about $15 at AutoZone and do it myself. Thanks anyway!

I can tell you what I wouldn't have done. Spitting isn't a very mature reaction to any situation. Nor is it likely to give you any solution to your problem, nor any lasting satisfaction. It could also come out in court.

Spitting is considered 'transfer of bodily fluids' and is considered a very serious form of assault in the times we live in. It can be deadly in certain circumstances.

I would have resorted to other means:

1. Collecting all my information.
2. Contacting Firestone CORORATE offices for resolution.
3. Fully informing the retail location and Corporate that I fully intend to follow up if necessary.
4. Filing a case in small claims court if it came to that.

The law is there for a reason. Use it, not spit.

Left....

As far as I am concerned they asked you to leave their private property and you refused. There are other means to deal with your car and the money....most of which probably won't work now....

although i can see how you were pissed of about getting screwed, it definitely wasnt right to spit and threaten them. although, they did make the first move on the whole assault thing, you still pressed them on and told them they had to get threw you to move your car which was on their private property. the cops mustve liked you since they didnt take you to jail.

and the whole part about in front of your kids, it only teachesthem that they should fight someone if they are disrespected.

handling this in a legal matter from the start wouldve been alot better, since the owner can use the part of you not getting off of his property to hurt you in your case.
