firestone robbed me of $700 for a $10 part
i went ther with a coolant leak on my 95 bonneville se.. i had a leak in the plactic elbow that comes from the belt tensioner to the engine.. a $10 elbow i got from the dealer who was to busy to replace it soon so i went to firestone and paid $160 for them to replace the elbow. now i have spent a lil over $700 because they said it was mandatory to replace the belt tensioner along with the elbow and they wouldnt give me my car unless i paid. so next i wake up the next day after i got the car back and i still am leaking fluid.i went back to complain and i told them i wanted it fixed and i was not going to pay. so they then told me (a cash paying customer for 2 years) to get my damn car off the property or they will have it towed and me locked up in front of my to kids for disorderly conduct and tresspassing. lol. so next i spit in the owners face for threating me in front of my kids and he ran inside when i put my sons carseat on the floor... next about 4 workers came out and told me i have to leave.. (i live on firestones block) so i called a neighbor to come get my kids and when my friend got their and took the kids back to my house i put my car blocking their entrance and i took the keys and put them in my pocket and i waled upto the 4 workers and told them all ( who wants the first 5 minutes ) then one brave man stepped up and said move your car and leave or ill move the 2 of you .. oh boy no he did not just say that... so now i took my car keys and put them on the floor behind me and siad if your man enough to get through me and get my keys then you can move the 2 of us your self.. so he came at me and i gave him 1 solid shot which made his nose gush like niagra falls and then the other 3 workers picked him up and ran inside locked the doors and called the cops.. i said to my self.. ahh **** im going to jail.. so when the cops came they spoke to me first and i told them the whole truth exaactly word for word since day one when i first took the car to them . so now the owner who i first spiut in his face came running out and took the cops inside to watch the video tape.. when the cops seen that even tho i did curse a lil but their workers came at me with force they siad it was self defense in my case because i was out numbered and threaten by 4 people while my kids were their and if i wanted i can sue firestone for harrassment and for the bad work done to my car... i am going today to make a court date...

I would have not paid in the first place... They are NOT supposed to do ANY work to your car, no matter how little it costs, or how important it is unless YOU tell them to.
If they are that idiotic as to now know how to correctly repair a common problem like that, just imagine them doing some hard work.... just imagine how many other people have been ripped off by them. I hate crooked shops
I would def go after all of the money they took ya for, and also any money it will take to CORRECTLY fix your car.

I would not go after any damages for the assault / self defense, because in reality, that could have been avoided had you kept a cooler head.

you guys are absolutely 100% right.. i did act a lil over board. i was just upset how they talked to me in front of my 4 year old daughter and 8 month old son.. it was very disrespectful.. but i did go over board.. i a man so i did need any money for the lil scruffle we had.. but i will be going after all the money i paid for a problem that they just made worse and also the cost that the dealer will charge me to correct the problem i will also be getting from them.. i might just have the dealer put all new parts and say it was needed.. you no the dealer would love that

your response could have gone a little like "let me see my signature authorizing $700 in work"
assault is never a good choice.

I gotta say. I definitely understand how you felt. I might have done the same thing. But looking from the outside, and you looking back, we all know it was wrong.
Your only advantage to your actions right now is the cop. I hope you got his name. As for their actions, do your best to get all it'* worth. I know when the elbow went on my Series 1 Le Sabre, it cost me less than $200 total (parts and labor)
