How did this key end up working Travis?

I finally got it today, so I haven't done anything with it yet, other than put the guts of one of my remotes in it. Hopefully I can get the key cut tomorrow and see if it'll work without adding the resistors.

I'm just seeing one problem with a flip key is the fact that in my car idk about yours I have this style of ignition with the tabs on it

Mines like that too, but the new key fits between them fine

Here are a couple pictures I took comparing the two keys. It seems like the new one is a hair longer, but that might be to make up for the fact that it don't fit all the way into the ignition cylinder..










I'll let you know tomorrow how it works if I can get it cut/working.
