This doesn't sound right

Am I missing something? I thought Bonnevilles were considered H bodies (based on our VINS, etc).
The G platform was refreshed for 2000 and two more large sedans moved to it, the Buick LeSabre and Pontiac Bonneville.

I believe the Bonneville and Lesabre were inteded to be G-bodies as they are very similar to the G-bodies (drivetrain'* aside) but in the end continued as H-bodies.
