Do I really wnat one of these cars?
Just because an SSEI can get 30mpg on the highway doesn't mean it gets the same mileage as an SE/SLE. With the difference in engines, I'm pretty certain you will see a difference with city driving. So unless you somehow are able to drive 99% highway, you will see a difference in gas mileage.

Just keep your foot outta the boost and your SSEi is pretty much an N/A 3800(SE, SLE), am I thinking about this correctly? Im knocking down more than what my sticker said for MPG in town. Just checked it. (21MPG) Arnt the EPA estimates just calculated by a computer barring weight vs. HP? If you are honestly worried about MPG get a friggin' hybrid. Plus you'll get a tax write off. 94 GMC YUKON was my last vehicle (15MPG highway
) So, right now Im happy as a clam with my Bonne. Just get a bonne, you wont regret it!!!!
I should say that I'm not sure I quite believe the fueleconomy.gov site. For instance, on a recent trip to Western Michigan in the GXP over three tanks of (premium) gas through PA, Ohio and Michigan I got 25.1 MPG; 26.3 and 26.9 MPG.
But then again I drive like a granny cuz I got two kids in the back.
Just sayin.
