The guy in the Corvette club that said he'd hook me up with a Corsa exhaust said (after I told him I had a Magnaflow) that instead of the Hi-Flow CAT I want, he would just put a straight pipe in and wack the CAT....I would, but I won't be able to get away with that legally I'm sure. My car'* due for inspection soon anyway.

I will add the Hi-Flow CAT this summer, and am anticipating the improvement in performance. I'll take the res. out too and see what it sounds like. Hopefully it won't be raspy like Trev said his was..I doubt it, since yours isn't. But if I didn't like it without the res. I could just put it back in.

We're lucky in MN. One of the thing Jesse did, when he wasn't busy pulling his foot out of his mouth, was get rid of emissions inspections. Been pondering staying with my stck exhaust for now, but losing the Cat. Of course, all of this is after the wife lets me get my welder.

Yes, I know --

BonneAlien, be sure to take lots of pics....

Before, during and after shots would be cool (if you've got a digital camera)

I think Will and/or Mach are looking (or found?) for the best "fit and performance" K&N cone to fit a 3in. pipe. One of them will post in performance about it when they find it. I'm waiting to hear what they find.
