Couldn't hold back so I bought it back. :o)

1800 miles isn't bad if you can get it to the train station and put it on. I think a friend did one further for like $200

3.33 was the worst tranny of the bunch... they all end up failing earlier than the lower gear ratio'*....

true, but there is a reason for that. The 3.33 ratio transmissions spin at a higher rate all the time and on a transmission that is already prone to fail from heat problems, dies that much sooner when it'* spinning faster.

i think we got something here. it will tow to where ever you want it, and will move around ok, prolly just have to duct tape the fender up out of the way. other than that, just waiting to get the tires switched over to the sho, after we use the rest of them up .

Well, I just drove the car from my ex-fiancee'* parents place to the mechanics shop 30 miles away -going 75 mpg at 5500 rpm (only have 1st and 2nd gear but no slippage) the whole time. She never flinched. I wouldn't have driven that fast, but Melissa was in a hurry to get back to St. Cloud (35 miles on the other side of Sauk Centre *AND* she'* not too fond of my ex-fiancee'* family <--- that'* what she talks like every time she talks about them LOL).
