first i wasn't hearing nothing went i try to start my 1993 bonneville So i clean the battery cables and now i hear a clicking sound from the starter but no start

How old is your battery? And did you clean both ends of both cables?

yes i clean both that hook up to the battery do i have to clean the other ends and where r they at. its a 1993 and i just replace the battery two days ago

Follow the cable to here it connects, one to the block(ground) and one to the starter(hot)

do i have to clean the ground b/c i didnt clean it just the (hot) So the starter is ok right?

Make sure you clean both cables on both ends really good.

Can you test the battery? Make sure it has a charge.

i try to jump it and it wouldn't start i'm going to take the battery to autozone and see if they will charge it for me b/c i don't have a charger u think that the battery could of drain b/c the car wouldn't start even if i just bought one
